Project 24 Events Calendar 2017

Sat 27 May – Sundown Market 

Street traders, hot food stalls as well as a speciality bar selling crafts beers and wines. To include a full programme of live music entertainment in the Hub. More details will be available soon.

Sat 01 July – Schools out for Summer (Family event)

A day of family fun to celebrate the start of the summer holidays. Street entertainers, music, crafts, stalls, children’s entertainment and more.

Fri 05 – Sun 13 August – Creative Peninsula

Creative Peninsula

The annual Creative Peninsula event is a celebration of Art and Craft throughout the Borough. Events will take place at Project 24 throughout the week including Artist talks, Open Studios Days, Workshops and Demos.

Saturday 07 October – Open Art (12noon – 3pm)

Project 24 welcomes back its popular Open Art Day.   Project 24 Artists and Makers will be providing FREE drop in ‘taster’ Workshops, Demonstrations and Artist Talks in the Pods and the Hub including Painting, working with clay, print and more.  Musical entertainment from 1pm – 3pm.  Some taster workshops are suitable for children aged 6 upwards.

 

 

Saturday 28 October – Halloween (Family event)

A day of family fun to celebrate Halloween with music, children’s entertainment, performance and more.

Saturday 18 November – Craft in The Hub (11am – 6.30pm)

Taking place as part of the Christmas Switch on events in Bangor, local professional Artists and Craftspeople will be selling in The Hub and in the Art Pods at Project 24.  The Hub will be transformed into a magical Christmas venue with lights and colour.  This is an opportunity to support and buy local craft.  A variety of makers including Textile Artists, Jewellery Designers, Ceramicists, Mixed Media, Potters, Card Makers, Printmakers will be attending.  The will be supplemented by Street Theatre, free face painting and free kids’ craft activities.
